Here’s another cover I’ve done for the Gladstone Bluesfest. I can’t even say how long I’ve been working with these guys, maybe ten years. Great people all the way around and a good music festival. The act I’m most excited about is Cedric Burnside. Yes, he is related to the late great bluesman R.L. Burnside. I saw him a couple of years ago touring with Lightning Malcolm and they were great. I’m definitely interested in seeing what Cedric will be like on his own now. The festival also has all the Kansas City Blues Society winners playing too.
